Kerry is thrilled to serve as Executive Director of Shooting Star, as the foundation continues to grow and flourish – profoundly changing outcomes for children and families and enabling them to thrive. Her passion for making a difference in the lives of people was ignited early on, while working at a summer Bible Camp, and volunteering at Courage Center. Since then, she has been honored to serve many organizations over the past 30 years; focused on children, families, education, and poverty.

Following a career at General Mills, Kerry was fortunate enough to exit the work force to become a homemaker and raise three children. During that time, God provided many leadership roles at church, schools, and Christian organizations, which included teaching, fund-raising, and event planning. Most recently, Kerry was able to provide personal care and hospice for elderly ladies during the pandemic, while they were isolated from their families.

Kerry now resides in Eden Prairie, with a teenage daughter, while her two sons are grown and living out of state. She spends her time enjoying tennis, golf, and water sports; and attends Westwood Church.
