Ben Kruger

Ben is proud to serve on the Board and is deeply committed to achieving the Shooting Star Foundation’s Mission.  Ben and his wife Beth have a direct connection to the many challenges that families of children with special needs experience.  At age 3, their son Cole was diagnosed with Autism and through the early intervention of caring and skilled professionals at St. David’s Center, his life was transformed.  Years later, Cole continues to thrive and reach new heights in all areas of his life.   With deep gratitude, Ben and Beth see a direct connection to their core purpose and the brighter future that The Shooting Star Foundation is resolved to create for the families they support.

Ben is the Director of Specialty Grains and Oilseeds for Cargill North America. In addition, Ben serves on the Board of Advisors for the Cargill Ability Network. Ben has a passion for food and agriculture having worked for Cargill for over 20-years and being raised on his family’s dairy farm in Central Wisconsin.  Ben and Beth along with children Morgan, Clara, and Cole currently reside in Victoria, MN and are members of Westwood Community Church.
